Wendy Taylor, AGPC-CNP, is a certified nurse practitioner (American Academy of Nurse Practitioners) at WK Pierremont Neurology Clinic. Taylor’s nursing experience includes neurosurgery, Gamma Knife radiation, plastic surgery, movement disorders and coordination of resources for Parkinson’s disease patients and families. She is the only nurse practitioner within 100 miles who has experience programming all available deep brain stimulator (DBS) systems. Her DBS programming improves quality of life for patients with Parkinson’s disease, essential tremor and dystonia.
Taylor holds Advanced Practice Nurse and Registered Nurse licenses as an adult/gerontology primary care certified nurse practitioner. She received a Master of Science degree in nursing from the University of South Alabama in Mobile. Her Bachelor of Science in nursing came from Northwestern State University College of Nursing.
As she strives to always provide high-end patient care, Taylor remains focused on patient satisfaction and continued trust in Willis-Knighton practitioners and clinics. A relaxed environment with open communication enables Taylor to listen to her patients’ needs.
