Mary S. McFerren, PA

Mary McFerren is a native of West Monroe where she graduated from Northeast Louisiana University with a Bachelors of Science in Pre-Medicine and minor in Chemistry. She moved to Shreveport graduating with another Bachelors of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Louisiana State University School of Allied Health. In 2001, Mary completed her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies from University of Nebraska Medical Center with a specialty in Family Medicine.

After completing PA school, Mary practiced family medicine for nineteen years before joining Dr. Meghan Harris in January 2019. She is still active in local and national PA organizations that include the Louisiana Academy of Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants. Mary enjoys getting to know her patients on a personal level and providing quality care through teamwork.
